Get Started at Brideside!

The holidays are the most popular time to get engaged, which means right now is the time when brides’ minds start to swirl with the possible looks of their wedding. The bridal party plays a huge part in the color scheme and look.  We’ve compiled a list of what’s hot in bridesmaids fashion in 2014 to give you a few ideas. Our bridesmaid dress trends are divided into two categories: Silhouette and Color.

Silhouette: One shoulder + Asymmetrical + Peplum + Halter + Illusion

One shouldered bridesmaid dresses and asymmetrical hemlines have been battling halter necks for the spotlight at the award shows, but that doesn’t mean we’re over the figure-flattering peplum or right-amount-of-sexy illusion neckline trends.

Color: Bold + Mismatched + LBD + Sparkle + Lace

Bold and vibrant hues are popular in 2014 bridesmaid fashion, following in line with Pantone’s color of the year, Radiant Orchid. But purple dresses aren’t the only ones seeing the love, blush bridesmaid dresses are holding strong. Why not mix the two or create an ombre effect– See our top tips for making this trend work. LBD now stands for “LONG black dresses,” and these are a perfectly elegant bridesmaid dress option. Jazz them up with a little sparkle by adding a belt or some stunning earrings.
